Building strong future leadership teams in times of exponential growth

Since 2021, Modoras achieved exponential growth in Australia through strategic acquisitions and by expanding its wealth management services. This allowed the firm to broaden its client base and strengthen its position in the financial services sector.

Modoras recognises that to support this rapid growth, it must invest in the resilience and capability of its people. Building and maintaining high-performing management teams are a central building block in fuelling this growth. As the business scaled, Modoras had to ensure consistency in service delivery while onboarding new talent, integrating teams, and providing an environment where their people could perform at their peak.

The Solution

Investing in future leaders’ resilience and capability to navigate rapid change

Modoras’ leadership team recognised that the only way to successfully scale the business while sustainably deliver high performance. The objective was to equip critical talent with the capability to navigate demanding jobs and personal and professional growth sustainably is critical in building a thriving organisation.

Through The Pillars Future Leaders Program (FLP), key talent gained clarity in personal and professional goals, equipping them with a blueprint that fosters sustainable performance within Modoras that does not come at the cost of personal sacrifice. Participants received 1:1 guiding sessions that helped participants track their progress and remain accountable.

The Pillars Journey for Modoras

Getting Started: Setting Objectives & Selecting Participants

The objective of the engagement was to foster sustainable performance for key talent to equip them with the capability to continuously deliver high performance while navigating a volatile business landscape fuelled by Modoras’ rapid growth trajectory.

Together with key decision makers, we have identified a group of high-potential key personnel to participate in the program.

Day 1: The Pillars Discovery Workshop

After selecting a group of high-potential future leaders, the Pillars Program kicked off with an on-site workshop (The Pillars Discovery). During this workshop, participants learn the Pillars framework and take academically validated baseline assessments in Capacity, Burnout Propensity, and the proprietary Pillars survey that helps participants identify areas that require attention throughout the first three months of their journey (The Alignment Phase).

Month 1-4: Alignment

With the Pillars discovery providing clarity, participants were paired with their individual guides and have commenced with their individual blueprint development.

During the alignment phase, most participants seek personal alignment, which is aimed reducing personal resistors such as neglected personal health, boundaries, recovery, and relationships. As a result, scores for the “Me” Pillar have improved by 30%, on average.

After three months of alignment, all participants have shown significant improvements in measurements, but were also perceived as significantly more energetic and have demonstrated a strong increase in pro-active and strategic decision making, which is a common outcome from increased capacity.
